International Chinese Musculoskeletal Research Society (ICMRS)
Founded in August 1994 at Sun Valley, Idaho, the International Chinese Musculoskeletal Research Society (ICMRS, renamed from the International Chinese Hard Tissue Society, known as ICHTS) is a non-profit professional organization, striving to facilitate the exchange of ideas and to promote collaboration among scientists in the fields of musculoskeletal research.
Mission:
- The mission of the ICMRS is to promote scientific and professional excellence and enhance communication among scientists of Chinese heritage and other international scholars in the field of musculoskeletal research and related areas.
- ICMRS aims to advance the global musculoskeletal research agenda through excellence in education, research collaboration, and networking through sponsorship and organizing various scientific conferences, workshops, and scientific events worldwide;
- fosters early career researchers among members; and
- promotes the development of basic scientists and clinical researchers to assure continuing efforts for exploring new discoveries and advances for providing quality of musculoskeletal research and care in countries including outreach regions.
